Upendo Kenya Coffee supplies single-origin AA Arabica and Robusta beans from Kenya's volcanic highlands to roasters, distributors, and importers across the world.
A note from Upendo Kenya Coffee
Upendo means love in Swahili - and that's how we treat every bean. From the fertile volcanic slopes of Kiambu, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, and Bungoma, our cooperative of smallholder farmers hand-picks only the ripest cherries. Each lot is wet-processed, fully washed, and sun-dried on raised beds before our in-house experts roast it to a nutty, fruit-forward chocolate brown.
The result is a cup with deep wine-like acidity, floral aromatics, and that unmistakable Kenya berry-citrus finish - exported under our four signature animals: Tiger, Zebra, Rhino, and Lion.
Kenya AA - among the most sought-after coffees in the world.
Deep, well-drained, acidic soils (pH 5.3–6.0) at 610–1,830m.
Phytosanitary certified for safe global export.
From single sacks to full 20ft container loads.
The Signature Line

Simba — Tiger
Full-bodied with deep wine-like acidity, floral aromatics, and a bright citrus finish. Our flagship lot — the bean that put Kenya on the world map.

Punda Milia — Zebra
Same celebrated origin as our Tiger lot, ground fresh and nitrogen-flushed for maximum aroma retention. Ready for filter, French press, or moka pot.

Kifaru — Rhino
A bold dark roast for espresso lovers. Heavier body, lower acidity, with notes of dark chocolate and toasted hazelnut.

Upendo Dark Ground
Espresso-ready dark ground: a syrupy cup that pulls beautifully and stands up to milk in cappuccinos and lattes.

Direct from the farmers
We work directly with cooperatives in Kiambu, Kirinyaga, Muranga, Nyeri, Kericho, Kisii, Machakos, Nakuru and the Taita Hills. No middlemen, no shortcuts - just transparent pricing for the people who make this coffee possible.
